A second man has been arrested after a suspected kidnapping in Worcester, police have said.

Officers were called to Hazel Close on Tuesday at about 19:20 BST, following reports a man appeared to have been forced into a white van.

The 25-year-old victim managed to leave the van uninjured before it was seen by officers at a petrol station on Tolladine Road, West Mercia Police said.

A 45-year-old Birmingham man was arrested on Tuesday and was later released on bail. Officers said on Thursday that another man, aged 30, had also been taken into custody as inquiries continued.
