Guernsey Ports said they are preparing for a busy first weekend of half-term.

In total, 3,000 people are expected to travel through the harbour and 5,600 through the airport this weekend with Friday due to be the busiest day.

Steve Langlois, head of passenger operations for Guernsey Ports: "Passengers are advised to arrive in good time for their journey, as it will be busier than normal.

"If you're flying out on an early morning UK flight with Aurigny, consider using the convenient twilight check-in service, available daily from 15:00 BST-20:00 BST, the day before your flight."
