City fly-tippers ordered to pay more than £8,000

Nine Hull residents have been given criminal records and been told to pay a combined total of £8,271 for fly-tipping.
Hull City Council has warned people to dispose of their waste legally or face legal action.
The nine appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court in August and September.
Charles Quinn, the council's portfolio holder for environment, said: "Fly-tipping is a crime and we do not tolerate it in Hull."
Fines and costs
Roua Marimar and Gabi Florina Ivan, of Nicholson Street, were each ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £916 for fly-tipping on Tunis Street.
Charmaine Spence, of New Bridge Street, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £990 for fly-tipping on Middleburg Street.
Ioan Andrei, of De Grey Street, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £841 for waste fly-tipped on Rosamond Street.
Caitlyn Sweetman, of Beverley Road, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £866 for fly-tipping on Aberdovey Close.
John Robert Biggs, of Ashburn Grove, Spring Bank West, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £911 for fly-tipping on Spring Bank West.
Mateusz Sroka, of Newtown Court, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £874 for fly-tipping on De Grey Street on two occasions.
Larisa-Nicoleta Mihalache, of Beverley Road, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £966 for fly-tipping on Beverley Road.
Katie Louise Carr, of Thirlmere Avenue, was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £991 for fly-tipping on Wellsted Street.
Quinn described fly-tipping as "unsightly, potentially harmful to human health and damaging to the environment".
