PSNI have confirmed that they are treating the attack as a racially motivated hate crime

An attack on a property in south Belfast is being treated as a racially-motivated hate crime by the police.

Multiple windows were broken with stones at the house in City Way shortly before 09:30 on Friday.

The PSNI have appealed for information. “There is no place for this kind of behaviour in our society," a spokesperson said.

"It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to ensure that we live in a society where diversity is respected and people feel safe.
