An accelerated misconduct hearing will take place in Chapeltown

A former police officer is accused of keeping racist, transphobic and ableist images and memes on his mobile phone.

PC Lee Holt faces allegations of gross misconduct over the material stored on his personal mobile phone, South Yorkshire Police said.

An accelerated misconduct hearing by the force is scheduled to take place on Friday.

It will be held at the Professional Standards Department in Chapeltown.
