Gas works set to cause delays until end of August
- Published
A road closure and temporary four-way traffic lights at one of Dorchester’s busiest road junctions will be needed until the end of August for a gas main replacement.
The works, from Wednesday, will replace a main in Weymouth Avenue and Maumbury Road.
The road will be closed at the Edward Road junction with four-way lights in operation at the Maumbury crossroads.
A diversion will be in place for traffic in and out of Edward Road and the eastern section of Coburg Road via Maiden Castle Road or Damers Road for the other direction.
