Daniel earns Blue Peter badge for RNLI fundraising
- Published
A boy from Guernsey has been awarded a silver Blue Peter badge for his fundraising efforts.
Those who earn the badge must show kindness by doing something for their community or another person.
Daniel was presented with his badge in recognition of his continued support of the RNLI's St Peter Port Lifeboat Station.
The RNLI said he had offered "brilliant help" over the past year during various fundraising events.
'Generosity and passion'
Daniel said: "I'm very proud of this achievement. I wanted to get the Blue Peter silver badge so that I can show how much I support the lifeboats."
He was surprised with the badge on his 10th birthday after his father, Kyle, applied for it on his behalf.
Kyle wanted his son to have the badge as a "great way to recognise his generosity and passion".
