The grandparents of Olympic swimmer Matt Richards are continuing their celebrations after he won gold in the 4x200m freestyle relay.
Peter and Meg Richards were cheering from their living room on their grandson and his team secured gold in Paris.
Ms Richards said she had been feeling nervous for the team and was keeping "everything crossed" for a win.
"[It's] Just wonderful, I couldn't ask for more than that I don't think," she said.
The couple are now looking forward to celebrating with Richards, who also won silver in the 200m freestyle event on Monday, when he returns.
"[It feels] unbelievable but real if you can have those two words in a sentence," Mr Richards said.
"We've seen them do it before the lads were great, they've defended their title... absolutely phenomenal."
Richards, alongside Duncan Scott, Tom Dean and James Guy were more than a second ahead of the US team, which clinched silver in the event, on Tuesday
Ms Richards said she was immensely proud of her grandson being part of showing young people around the country how swimming can not only take you far but be a life skill.
She said: "Swimming is the most important sport because it can save your life and what a thing for youngsters growing up and learning to swim, it's really quiet amazing that our grandson is part of this I'm so delighted."
His grandmother joked that she looked forward to him having to bend "right down" for her to be able to hug him when he gets back
"I just [want to] tell him how much we love him and proud we are of him" she said.
