Jewellery and watches worth £21,000 were stolen in a burglary while the owners were away over Christmas.

Thieves broke into the property, in the village of Wanborough, near Swindon, between 20 December and 4 January.

Wiltshire Police said watches, including several Breitlings, and a sapphire diamond ring were taken.

Det Con Kyra Freeland said patrols in the area had been increased after "several" other burglaries in the area.
