The footbridge is a popular spot for photographers

A footbridge over a main road in Lincoln city centre will be demolished in May.
Scott's Bridge on Melville Street will be closed to the public from 5 May before it is taken down between 16 May and 19 May.
The project is part of a scheme to build a new hotel and residential development at the nearby former City Square shopping centre.
The bridge is a popular spot for photographers due to the scenic views it provides of the city and Lincoln Cathedral.

The removal of the bridge has been confirmed by Lincolnshire Co-op
Road and footpath closures will be in place on Broadgate and Melville Street from 19:00 BST on Friday 16 May until 06:00 BST on Monday 19 May, said Lincolnshire Co-op, which is behind the scheme.
Public transport will continue to run over the weekend, and nearby car parks, including Broadgate and Lincoln Central, will also remain open.
Kevin Kendall, head of property at Lincolnshire Co-op, said: "We're pleased with how the project continues to progress, and look forward to bringing new services to the local area, which will support tourism in Lincoln and create more housing."
