Child found safe and well, police confirm

A search was launched after a child was spotted on its own wearing just a nappy

A child who was spotted out alone wearing just a nappy has been found, police have confirmed.
A search had been launched after the youngster was seen on Wentworth Road in Rugby, Warwickshire, on Wednesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to look for the child to "check if he or she was OK" and a public appeal was shared on social media.
Warwickshire Police has since confirmed that the child had been identified and was back home safe and well.
