The bodies of a man and a woman have been pulled from the wreckage of a car found in a reservoir in Greater Manchester.

Police were called to reports of a crash at Dowry Reservoir on Huddersfield Road in Denshaw, Oldham, at about 10:10 GMT on Saturday.

The bodies of the pair, both aged in their 70s, were later recovered from the water.
