Firefighters who extinguished 15 grass fires alongside a railway line believed they were started deliberately.

Five crews attended Mucking Wharf Road, in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, at 15:30 BST earlier.

Trains were stopped for one hour while the fires were extinguished amid concern for passenger safety.
