Bank holiday sees bus station closed for repairs

Passengers in Mansfield are being advised to make alternative arrangements while the town's bus station is closed.
Nottinghamshire County Council said it would be carrying out maintenance work for two days over the August bank holiday weekend.
All buses will depart from temporary stops on either Leeming Street, Quaker Way or Walkden Street on 25 and 26 August.
A council spokesman said the building, toilets and shop would remain open while work is carried out.
Mark Walker, interim service director for place and communities, said: “We know this closure may cause disruption for some.
"However, should anyone be unsure where to catch their bus, I would encourage them to go into the bus station to speak to staff who will be able to assist.
“This closure is necessary to help us complete routine maintenance at the bus station to make sure it continues to serve Nottinghamshire residents well into the future.”
