A pedestrian who died after being hit by a motorbike in Leeds has been named by police.

Kenneth 'Kenny' Smith, 65, died in hospital after being injured in the collision with a blue Voge 125cc motorcycle in Great George Street at about 15:00 GMT on Monday.

The 26-year-old rider, who suffered facial injuries, was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail, according to West Yorkshire Police.

Officers investigating the crash have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch.
