Visit Guernsey's Tube ads will run at 20 central London sites

Commuters on the London Underground are being invited to escape the hustle and bustle of city life in an advertising campaign promoting the Bailiwick.

Visit Guernsey said a series of Tube adverts were on display at 20 sites in central London - including Leicester Square and Oxford Circus - and they tell Londoners to "find their island feeling".

The organisation said the posters promote Guernsey's "London air routes" and encourage "last-minute summer holidaymakers".

The ads come after a summer TV campaign, which Visit Guernsey said reached more than 220,000 households.

The adverts are running for a two-week period until 14 July.

Visit Guernsey said similar ads last year increased London visitors to its website by nearly 10%.
