Fans in Liverpool turned the skies red after the team romped to victory with a 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur and the club became English champions for the 20th time.

But it looks like a cheeky Everton fan left a blue mark among the celebrations.

Amid expectations the Reds would win the Premier League this season, there had been rumours a Toffees supporter had bought a number of blue flares and swapped the labels, disguising them as red and selling them to Liverpool fans.

Pictures showed the Everton fan may have had limited success at a playful sabotage with a blue flare going off during celebrations in the city.

But while it may have raised an eyebrow or two, it did not stop the party.
