A man has been charged with murder after a 27-year-old father was stabbed in south-east London.
Earl Junior Strachan, 33, of no fixed address, was arrested in Scotland and charged with murder and possession of a knife two days later on 23 October, the Met Police said. He is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Sanchini Thompson was stabbed on 15 October on Rushey Green in Lewisham, with police called just after 03:00 BST. He was treated at the scene for stab wounds but died in hospital, the force said.
His family described Mr Thompson as a "devoted father" of a four-year-old daughter who was a "pillar of kindness" and "the heartbeat of his family".
The investigation into Mr Thompson's death remained ongoing, the Metropolitan Police said.
