Heavy fog will continue to cause disruption to flights on Tuesday due to aircraft and crew being "out of position", according to Guernsey's States-owned airline.

Aurigny said some delays will continue during the day as it "repositions our teams and aircraft".

More fog is expected later in the day and the airline is offering customers the option of changing bookings to any alternative date, free of charge.

For flights confirmed as cancelled, customers should receive an email containing a link where they can claim a full refund.

The easiest way for customers to make a change to their flight is via the airline's website, where the latest information on flight status is also available.

A spokesperson for Aurigny, said: "We are committed to minimising disruption and doing everything we can to support all our customers during this time.

"Given the persisting nature of the current weather conditions, we’re offering customers full flexibility, including the opportunity to claim a refund so they can avail themselves of all possible transport options."
