Boy, 13, seriously injured in glass bottle attack

A 13-year-old boy has been left with "potentially life-changing injuries" after being attacked with a glass bottle in Manchester, police have said.

It happened in Woodend Road, Wythenshawe, at about 19:15 BST on Tuesday.

The boy was taken to hospital, the force said.

No further details have been disclosed at this stage and investigation was continuing.
