Residents in Ollerton are being invited to view the final designs of a town regeneration project next month.

The £20m scheme was announced in 2023, and is set to bring a new cinema, library and residential spaces.

Work on the project was delayed after a reported delay in receiving government funding.

Newark and Sherwood District Council said the drop-in event would take place at Ollerton and Boughton Town Hall on 11 September from 15:00 to 18:00 BST.

"This drop-in event is a vital opportunity for residents to see how their input has helped shape the future of Ollerton town centre," Claire Penny, portfolio holder for sustainable economic development, said.

"The regeneration will not only enhance the physical environment but also strengthen the social and economic fabric of Ollerton."
