Libya crisis: Journalists die in Misrata attack

An award-winning British journalist and a US photographer have died while covering the conflict in the Libyan city of Misrata.

Liverpool-born Tim Hetherington is said to have been killed by a rocket-propelled grenade, while New Yorker Chris Hondros died a few hours later, of injuries sustained in the attack.

Rebels in the besieged city are said to have rejected the latest ceasefire offer from Colonel Gaddafi despite weeks of heavy bombardment.
