Greek cabinet meeting over more privatisation and austerity action

More austerity measures and a timetable for privatisation are top of the agenda for a meeting of the Greek cabinet.

Local reports suggest ministers may scrap bonus pay at state owned companies and raise sales taxes again.

The government needs to convince Euro officials and the IMF that it should qualify for its next tranche of aid.

The prime minister has admitted the alternative is a debt payment default.
