What the eurozone crisis means for Britain

After weeks of financial uncertainty that have seen stock markets swing wildly, the German parliament has come to the rescue of the eurozone.

Its MPs have voted to boost the bail-out fund for countries like Greece and if the money is needed the German taxpayer will have to find nearly £20bn more.
