St Paul's canon happy for protesters to stay

The Canon of St Paul's Cathedral, the Reverend Giles Fraser, has told the BBC that he is happy for protesters to stay on the cathedral grounds.

He told the BBC's Phil Lavelle that he even asked police to stop trying to keep demonstrators away on Sunday morning.

Dr Fraser said he would "take it a day at a time" if the protesters stayed for a long time.

The protesters are angry about austerity measures and what they see as corporate greed.
