CES 2014: Stepping in front of a robot shuttle vehicle
BBC technology correspondent Mark Ward has risked life and limb by walking in front of a moving vehicle.
The danger to his health was not as great as it might have seemed because the shuttle bus in question was controlled by a computer that uses lasers to map its surroundings and avoid crashes.
The vehicle - called Navia - was built by the French firm Induct, which is showing off the technology at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
