A trainee solicitor from Bristol is jailed for one of the worst acts of dog cruelty the RSPCA has ever investigated.

Katy Gammon was sent to prison for 18 weeks after she deliberately left her boxer dog Roxy to die, abandoned in her flat. Gammon was also banned from keeping animals for life.
