Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in Hollywood

The premiere of the latest in the Star Wars franchise, The Force Awakens, has taken place in Los Angeles.

The film, the seventh in the series, has reunited original stars including Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.

British actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Gwendoline Christie all walked the red carpet on Hollywood Boulevard.
