US weather: Floods and fire in east and west

The US is dealing with extreme weather which has hit the east and west of the country.

At least 20 people have died in West Virginia in severe flooding, and in California hot and dry conditions have fuelled wildfires which killed two people and forced thousands to flee their homes.
