Field of remembrance: 'Important children do not forget'

A field of remembrance honouring members of the armed forces since World War One has opened at Cardiff Castle.

More than 10,000 remembrance crosses and tributes from other faiths have been planted at the Welsh national field of remembrance, which will be open until 19 November.

First Minister Carwyn Jones was among those attending a service at the castle.

Jason Downey, a teacher at St Nicholas School, in Vale of Glamorgan, and his pupils explained why they think it is so "important" to remember the sacrifice of the fallen.
