COP28: 'It's essential my voice is heard in this space'

18-year-old Sagarika Sriram is one of the young voices attending COP28 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Named as one of this year's BBC 100 Women, she set up the online platform Kids4abetterworld, designed to help educate children around the world and support their sustainability projects in their communities.

BBC 100 Women caught up with her at this year’s COP in Dubai, also her home city, where she told us what actions she wants the older generations to take, and why it is so important to give young people a seat at the table.

Produced and edited by Rebecca Thorn. Filmed by Philip Darley.

Sagarika Sriram is on the BBC 100 Women list this year.
