Vodafone locks horns with India's tax man

India has one of the fastest growing mobile markets in the world, and this has created one of the country's most high profile tax cases.

Mobile phone giant Vodafone has fallen foul of Indian tax authorities, with a disputed tax bill worth over $2bn.

The case has gone back to court, with Vodafone insisting that India has no jurisdiction. The outcome will have implications for most foreign companies investing in the country.
