Surveyors expect prices to fall

A survey conducted by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has found that house prices are predicted to fall in the coming months, more than at any time since March last year.

The August housing market survey showed that more surveyors continued to see falling rather than rising prices.

Simon Rubinsohn from Rics has told the BBC that the surveyors were reporting modest price falls in the next three months.
