Nokia World opens with pledge to go its own way

Nokia's marketing senior-executive vice president says the firm should not try to copy its rivals.

Niklas Savander made the statement at Nokia World, the mobile firm's flagship annual conference.

It comes after the resignation of its mobile business head Anssi Vanjoki and the appointment of Microsoft's Stephen Elop as the new chief executive.
