Blackberry hopes worst is behind it with results

The makers of the Blackberry smartphone are due to unveil their second quarter results in Toronto.

It has been a tumultuous period for the firm, with the threat of service shut downs in India and Saudi Arabia, poor reviews for its first touch screen device and increased competition from Google's Android and Apple's iPhone systems.
