Fight to preserve India's natural resources

India's natural resources need careful management. Not least because they are coming under extra pressure thanks to rising consumer and business demand.

Two hours outside of Mumbai, farmers and tribal people are fighting to stop their natural water supply from being diverted. The government wants to build a dam that would give Mumbai an extra clean water source.

Nidhi Dutt spoke to Dharmakirti Joshi, Chief Economist at Crisil Limited and asked him about the hunt for resources in India.
