Jackson: Banks 'getting off lightly'

The US civil rights campaigner, Reverend Jesse Jackson, has voiced concerns about how the credit crisis, and the measures put in place to tackle it, are affecting poorer people.

Speaking to the BBC he condemned the behaviour of banks saying 'we bail out banks without bailing out the victims of bad bank behaviour.' He also said Britain needs 'to work its way' out of the crisis.
