Warning given over Japan's economy

Dr. Sejiro Takeshita, senior manager at Mizuho International has warned of a growing "crisis" over the Japan's economy, and the strength of the yen.

Earlier this month the Bank of Japan approved a $60bn stimulus package aimed offsetting the value of the Japanese currency which is trading at 15 year high against the dollar.

But the Chief Operating Officer of the car maker Nissan has says the firm is "way past the point" of talking about the damage to earnings being caused by the value of the yen.

Dr. Sejiro Takeshita told the BBC why this is such a becoming such a big issue.
