Immigration cap 'could harm business'

MPs have raised doubts about whether the government can live up to its promise of reducing net migration to the UK to "tens of thousands" during this Parliament.

The Home Affairs Committee says a cap on workers from outside Europe probably won't be sufficient and the government would need to limit the number of foreign students.

David Frost is the Director General of the British Chamber of Commerce and he told the BBC he is worried the restriction could damage Britain's message to the business world.
