'Bosses need to trust employees' to work from home

With the current weather conditions and yesterday's tube strike in London more and more people are struggling to get to work, but is working from home a possible solution?

According to a YouGov survey almost three quarters of employees were affected by the snow at the start of the year. But nearly half of us felt we had no choice but to get to work and carry on business as usual.

Unsurprisingly it was small business owners that felt the brunt of the weather. But despite this, over half of them were unprepared and had no contingency plans in place.

Andrew Millard from Citrix Online, a company that provides software to companies to allow staff to work from home, says ''a culture change is required''.
