New manufacturing makes dreams come true

Until recently, developing a new product would probably have taken experts and a sizeable cash investment to turn it into a technically perfect specimen suitable for a full blown production run.

But the Glif, which is a stand and tripod adaptor for your iPhone, has been developed differently. It is the brainchild of two friends from Long Island City in New York, who took their simple concept and turned it into something tangible, using crowdsourced funding and 3D printing.
