Euro falls as EU bail-out burden increases

The Euro has fallen again on the foreign exchanges after European ministers failed to agree new steps to prevent the region's debt crisis growing further.

Investors are concerned the EU cannot afford to continue helping several member countries struggling with massive debts

Plans to raise the financial safety net for banks and to create a joint government bond to reduce borrowing costs were blocked by Germany on Monday.
