Lord Razzall defends Vince Cable over BSkyB comments

The Liberal Democrat Peer Lord Razzall has defended comments made by Vince Cable to two undercover reporters.

The Business Secretary told the pair from the Daily Telegraph that he had ''declared war on Rupert Murdoch'' and planned to block his efforts to take full control of BSkyB.

Lord Razzall told the BBC that had Mr Cable not referred the takeover bid to Ofcom ''all hell would have broken loose''.
