HMV to close 60 stores as sales and shares slump

Shares in HMV have fallen by more than 20% after the High Street retailer, which also owns Waterstones, announced a sharp drop in sales in the run up to Christmas.

The company, which has almost 300 stores in the UK and Ireland, says it will close 60 of them this year.

BBC business correspondent Emma Simpson reports.
