Osborne outlines government measures on bank bonuses

The Chancellor has outlined measures that the government is imposing on banks in relation to bonuses.

George Osborne said the government is in discussions with the banks to see whether they can pay smaller bonuses than in previous years.

Mr Osborne was responding to an emergency question asked by Shadow Chancellor Alan Johnson.
