High petrol prices meant I had to quit my job

The cost of living has soared again taking many by surprise and putting pressure on the Bank of England to raise interest rates.

Families across the country are feeling the pinch of these cost of living increases.

Richard Wheeler from Hampshire has quit his management job because he could not afford to drive to work.

He was spending almost £300 a month on fuel and is hoping to cut that bill by working closer to home.
