Hampshire residents react to council cuts

Hampshire County Council has announced plans to axe around 1,200 jobs under plans to save £55m for 2011 and 2012.

Some of the savings the authority will make include a reduction in the county council subsidy it gives commercial bus operators to run less-used services, while budgets for child protection, highways maintenance and schools will be protected.

People in Winchester gave their reactions to the BBC.
