Medvedev hoping Davos will rouse interest in Russian agenda

The Swiss alpine resort of Davos is playing host to hundreds of business leaders and heads of state for the annual World Economic Forum.

Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev will go ahead with his trip to the opening of the forum despite the bomb attack in Moscow.

The president is hoping to round up interest surrounding his modernisation and privatisation programme.

The BBC's Tanya Beckett reports.
