Wind turbine maker Vestas returns to profit

A growing emphasis on green energy has helped the world's largest wind turbine maker Vestas return back into profit.

The Danish company's earnings for the fourth quarter of last year have come in at $338m, slightly below what analysts were expecting.

But a record number of deliveries has meant the company's shares have been staging somewhat of a comeback lately - a generally improved outlook has helped them up by 19% since December.

Ditlev Engel the Chief Executive of Vestas told the BBC it is ''very important that China is so committed to developing the wind sector''.
