Loan 'scam' criticised by Citizens Advice

Fraudsters and unscrupulous credit brokers are cold calling people in financial trouble and persuading them to pay up front fees for loans that never materialise, according to the Citizen's Advice Bureau.

It has now launched a super complaint which obliges the Office of Fair trading to investigate.
